Many thanks to Kimberley Heatherington, OSV News Correspondent, for her article on Synodality and Evangelization, featuring an interview with yours truly!
The Synod on Synodality begins this week in Rome, and there are already good fruits from the initial meetings. May it be a time of encounter, of deep listening to one another and the Holy Spirit as we imagine a more synodal church in the 21st century.
Thanks, as always, for reading, friends. Please pray for me and I will for thee.

Thank you Michael; in my Milwaukee See, the archbishop has chosen not to participate. It is so wonderful to have access to your blog; I share it on Social Media knowing others in Milwaukee are also seeking info. Please keep doing this outreach, it makes a difference to those of us that are treated as infants as the article highlighted. Pat Jursik, Cudahy WI
I’m so very grateful for your support, and sad your Archbishop has chosen not to participate. Let us pray for good fruits from this Synod experience and that those fruits may be experienced by the whole church, the entire People of God.
Great responses in your interview!!
